Apollo is also recognized by the name Conbraco that they used to use on their assemblies. Apollo has been a part of Conbraco and in fact Apollo ball valves have been and still are a part of the Conbraco assemblies. Currently they choose to use the name of Apollo on their assemblies.
Apollo has gone through a confusing period with their model numbers. They were easy to identify by their series like 40 -100 (DC) or 40-200 (RP). Then for whatever reason they started using just DC, RP or PVB on their models. The problem is they have a few different DC's, RP's. and PVB's.

Ball Valves
Apollo also made changes to the ball valves. The 40 series started out as F x F and then they changed to M x F. It is hard to tell what it is without taking the ball valve out. Below is the pictures of the differences as well as the new 4A ball valves.
